When some people hear the word D League their initial thought may be of the NBA’S D-League, but these two hold a league of their own. Demo and Uncut, the two members of D league, are South Florida’s newest rap duo. Far from the average and miles passed the ordinary, they are setting their sites for the majors, nothing less.

These young, ambitious and talented professionals are thinking and logically plotting the next step in their careers. D League was formed 5 years ago when both Demo and Uncut realized their passion for music. Representing opposite sides of the globe allows them to combine their experiences and lifestyles, which creates astounding music.

Being of Jamaican heritage and possessing Uptown Bronx swagger, Uncut makes up one half of the duo. With a real and uncut approach (hence the name Uncut) to music, this young professional is prepared to sit at the table with any Hip-Hop mogul, being that he is the businessman of the group . Vietnamese blood and a Bay Area upbringing, gives Demo the potential to surpass even his own limits. Though this laid back rapper symbolizes nothing of an “average rapper,” you would do much not to underestimate this lyrical warrior.

These two has taken their time to learn the business from the outside in; spending much of time in the studio strengthening and honing their skills. With the South making their presence known, and acts like Rick Ross and T-Pain gaining notable success, D League is positioned well for the next stage; better yet, center stage.

They have opened up local concerts throughout South Florida for artists such as Rick Ross, Chamillionaire, Young Dro, Trina and Lil’ Wayne, just to name a few. They have been spotlighted in Ozone Magazine, BET Notarized, FEVA Magazine, Hip Hop Weekly, and the cover story of Nine5Four magazine. With musical depth and character to match, there is no wonder as to why D League is here to take center stage and show the next generation what it means to be “real.”

Their 1st released mix tape "Makin Moves" is hosted by the infamous DJ Q45 of BET's Rap City and their second installment, "I Rep D League” hosted by Shadyville DJ young Cee, has recently been released March 09’. Think of hip-hop and what comes to mind? Diamond chains, fitted hats,
over-priced cars, undeniable swag, and of course, the women. But hip-hop has
so much more to offer and for twenty-something year old rapper VITO, hip-hop
offered a way out. Born in an era when drug abuse was at its all-time high
and morale was at an equal low, VITO in many ways became a victim of his
environment. With both of his parents working jobs that required them to be
away from home for months at a time, VITO had little parental guidance.
Before long he found himself involved with the streets and everything that
comes with it. "I seen it all and done almost everything, but I got a new
focus now. I'm ready for that change." But, change isn't always as easy as
it sounds and VITO admits that he still battles with old habits. His new
focus is music, which ironically has always been a part of his life. "As a
kid I lived next to a nightclub, so I would hear all types of music; from
Bob Marley to Smokey Robinson, to Big Daddy Kane, back to NWA, and even
Billie Holiday. Yeah, it got deep. Before I had my first crush I knew the
words to songs that were made as far back as the 60's." People find it hard
to understand how someone with such an unforgiving lifestyle could have so
many different dimensions. If you are looking for the answer, music is a
good place to start. The love for music was always there, but it wasn't
until his high school years that VITO realized he had a natural talent for
making his own music. "In high school kids would always have little
freestyle ciphers and I would always just watch, until one day a friend put
me on the spot and told me spit and the rest is history. I wrote my name on
those M.H.S walls as one of the best to ever do it." Fast forward and VITO
has become better with time. With his uncanny ability to paint pictures with
words and narrate the struggles of life in the hood; VITO is poised not to
be just another rapper, but the future of hip-hop. So...hand him the mic,
turn the lights down, press play, and allow him to introduce himself...and
the next time you think of hip-hop...THINK OF VITO...

Royaltees is a fusion between the urban lifestyle in America and the urban community in the West Indies. Royaltees launched their clothing line in December of 2008 and has been on an upward movement ever since. With the launch of this new web site, Royaltees has taken a step forward in the fashion industry by coming out with one of the most stunning web designs to promote a clothing line.
Royaltees Clothing line is so popular among its followers due to the way that the line incorporates music and culture into its designs. “Royaltees is the way we express ourselves,” said Justin Elliott (the creator of Royaltees). “When you’re wearing one our shirts it’s made so that you feel good about yourself and you have confidence and ‘swag’ so to speak”. Royaltees’ symbol is the lion. “I picked the lion because I feel that life is like a concrete jungle,” said Justin “and the lion is the king of the jungle and I feel that Royaltees will be the king of this fashion industry, so it’s only fit that we have the lion as our symbol”
Royaltees has a huge online following thanks to social networks like MySpace and Facebook. With a combined online network of over 10,000 people, it’s no wonder that Royaltees is getting so much support from people all over the world. And with over 800 people in attendance at their first fashion show in February they are seeing the love from the local audience too.
Royaltees Clothing has a few more big events in the up and coming months; they will make their first appearance in the Fashion Designers Expo in Miami and The Magic Trade Show in Las Vegas in addition to a number of other fashion shows around the South Florida area.
